Kettering 0 York 1

Nothing between the two sides, we worked hard but again lacked a killer edge in front of goal. There scored from a rare error from Ian Roper in what was their only effort at goal all game.

Their front two were crap i thought not sure what the fuss is with Brodie and Rankin should have walked for first a full elbow in Dempster's face that he only got booked for and then twice in the second half within the space on 5 minutes took both our full backs out and rather than the second booking he should have got the ref called over the York skipper to "have a word" and 2 minutes later Rankine was subbed. As for Brodie he spent 90% of the game on his arse moaning. Other than that neither had a kick.

Again today like at Stevenage we deserved something and worked hard. Hadfield looks a decent player as does Kelly. The front two of Dance and Appiah worked their arses off but for me just lacked the quality needed to unlock them but our over all play was very good and we should have scored three in the first 10 minutes.

Effort and commitment today was again spot on, we just need a striker in to put the ball in the net and we will turn these close games like today and at Stevenage into draws and wins.

York looked nothing special for me and we have to look on today as 3 points dropped. Still heads up and keep the effort up and we move onto a tough game at Barrow next week but a game we can get a result from.

There is a difference between physical and going OTT.  I doubt there was anyone in the ground apart from the ref who thought he would stay on the park after leading with his elbow never mind the blatant fowling after he had received a yellow.  It does say it all that the ref called over the York skipper to have a word with Rankine rather than have the balls to show red.

He was very poor yesterday, Dempster marked him out the game in fact i am not sure if JD has let Brodie out of his back pocket yet.

He had the touch of a rapist and spent 90% of the game on his arse moaning and trying to con the ref into giving free-kicks. I have seen him twice now (including up there when he scored twice) and i really don't see what the fuss is all about with him to be honest. Looks nothing special i thought.

What an ugly son of a bitch Brodie is.  The wierdest looking shit I've ever seen. The sort of face you'd never get tired of punching.

The two games i've seen Brodie in he was quality but could be better if he concentrated in playing rather than conning the ref.

He also runs like a duck and as you say he is up there with the ugliest players about. He looks like a deformed version of plug from the Bash Street Kids.
