So good I missed my connection and had to spend the night there. Not so good, and bloody expensive. It's Carlisle for fucks sake.

We missed our connection there coming back from Kilmarnock in December so ended up getting a taxi back.
Maybe not the best piss up station, but certainly the best ratio of pissheads per square metre.

My only claim to fame in Carlisle was the misfortune of walking in a load of spilt yellow paint on the pavement, and treading it in a nearby pub with polished wooden floors. I was instantly barred. No sense of humour them N Cumbrians.

Your Team: FLEETWOOD TOWN
Night/Day: Monday 5th May (Day)
Match: 3/10 The wind or ref didn't help but we were crap, I just wish we would go back to passing instead of hoofing.
Atmosphere: 2/10 We tried a bit. 8/10 for the good craic in the bar before game though.
Food: 5/10 Not bad pies but burgers were crap.
Drink: How can you give marks when you pay £1.70 for a can of strongbow with no glass?
Bar: 5/10 Thats not realy a bar, but serves a purpose I suppose.
People: 8/10 for the ones I met, not a problem. 1/10 for the little kids baiting us during game & getting on coaches.
Programme: 5/10 Although I didn't get one had a quick peep at somebody elses.
Town: 6/10 Wetherspoons was OK. The walk to the ground was wierd, we were singing (this place, is like a fooking ghost town)
Ground: 6/10 Old fashioned and run down but does the job, plenty of room for improvement.
Talent: 3/10 Bird in Wethers was ok but too young for me
None at ground.
Overall day: 5/10 Good day out spoiled by some shite football (hoofball) in the wind.

Your Team: Neutral (Workington v Alfreton BSN Semi Final)
Night/Day: Night
Match: 7/10 - Thought both teams were poor overall and both would struggle in the BSP with that sort of quality. That said, going foreward Alfreton seemed half decent and if the final ball wasnt so poor could have had 3 or 4. Alfretons Anton Brown and the long haired torres lookalike impressed, and Wukkies keeper was my MOM, decent game other then being beaten from a tight angle for the goal.
Atmosphere: 8/10 - Alfreton fans all suibtably tanked up and very vocal for 90% of the match. Pretty silent for a few mins after half time before their goal though. Workington were piss poor.
Food: 9/10 - Reasonably priced and decent portioned - Although i saw a meat and potatoe pie and it was f00king tiny.
Drink: N/A - Was driving so didn't drink.
Bar: 3/10 - Small anyways, but with the larger then usual crowd, it was absolutely rammed.
People: 9/10 - Met Ash and Wazza who both seemed decent blokes. All the Alfreton fans were absolutely spot on and the 5 of us from Barra had a good craic with them. The chavish little kids in the corner with their drum and immature songs were cringeworthy though, so the home fans lose a point for that ![]()
Programme: N/A - Didn't get one.
Town: 2/10 - Makes Barrow look mildly respectable.
Ground: 7/10 - Not nice standing on an open terrace, and the whole place has a feel as if its ready to fall down. That said, its a truly classic non league ground with loads of character and I do like it.
Talent: 5/10 - Saw a couple of lasses who were ok, but didnt see much else.
Overall day: 8/10 - Was a decent craic on the drive up and was good to watch a live game as a neutral for once. Couple of degrees warmer would of gone down a treat.

Your Team: Solihull Motors
Night/Day: Day
Match: Lost 2-1. Wukky scoring in the 88th and 94th minutes
Atmosphere: What atmosphere ? Fair enough, we only just hit double figures (that does not include the two coach drivers). Very, very little noise from the home fans, apart from moaning at the referee.
Food: 2/10. Very disappointed. The food is normally one of the best things of the day at Wukky, but it was a real let down this year. Chips were not hot enough and the pie was too small. Have they changed the caterers ?
Drink: Did not drink as I was driving .
Bar: 4/10. Small and cosy but no football scores on the TV. Poor show.
People: 9/10. Didnt speak to many, but those who I did spak to were quality. Ok, there are some shitty kids there, but on the whole the people were very good. Some seemed embarrased to snatch the victory in the late manner that they did.
Programme: 2/10. Too many adverts.
Town: N/A. Just drove through it.
Ground: 8/10. Extra marks as it didnt rain. Seventh time I have been there and only the 2nd time it hasnt rained.
Talent: Yeh rite!
Overall day: 7/10. We lost and its too bloody far away - but still had an enjoyable day out. Bit of a laugh on the way up, no traffic problems. Warm weather. We tried to play football. Wukky tried to kick us off the pitch. Overall an enjoyable day.
