Night/Day: Saturday 3pm
Match: Alvechurch 0v5 Nuneaton (friendly)
4/10- too one sided. Pretty dull.
Atmosphere: 0/10. 10 Alvechurch locals there, and I'd have been a bit embarrassed if any of our fans got too excited about beating a side 3 leagues below us.
Food: n/a- nothing at the ground but a great curry once back in Nuneaton
Drink: 8/10- 3 excellent pints of Boddingtons
Bar: 6/10- did the job. Nice big screen, friendly staff and decent service.
People: 8/10- ex girlfriends sister was there, nice girl. Turnstile operator was decent and didn't go in a strop about using a student card like many do, and the bar staff were very friendly.
Programme: n/a
Town: 7/10- Alvechurch is a nice enough little posh. Pretty posh houses, alright village centre and a nice pub to go in before the game.
Ground: 4/10- despite only being low level, it's still hard to give this much credit. Certainly not as good as other Midland Alliance grounds. Grass banks, and a crumbly seated stand.
Talent: n/a
Overall day: 7/10- not too bad. 30 minute trip each way, few beers, and five goals

It used to have a covered terrace (concrete terracing) behind the one goal, to the left of the seats and right of the clubhouse!! It was quite bizarre because the terracing went 2 ways because of the slope ![]()
